RESULTS from 22.08.2018 org meeting

20+ new volunteers responded to co-organizer Ariane’s post on FB/IG a to produce our next show September 28 at Kraftwerk, and more than half were able to attend our August meetup either online or in person at Colab. Below is a recap that clearly shows the momentum gathering force – thanks to the energy, ideas and commitment of our new volunteers.

SAVE THE DATE
Our last F2F team meetup before the show will be Thursday, 20.09.18 at Bogen D (Viadukt) from 18:00-19:00 – followed by Ignite speakers’ rehearsal from 19:00-20:30. All active members on the team roster are invited to attend and stay after the meeting to watch rehearsal.

Expanded team positions
To stage the biggest and best Ignite event in Europe, Ignite Zurich needed to expand the number of team roles and fill them with committed volunteers with the smarts and hearts to make it happen – no matter what. We moved a giant step closer to that reality last week. With the exception of some tech roles, all team positions were filled.

New team leaders
Amazing as having all the expanded roles filled – it is equally outstanding to have new team leaders responsible for all critical activities – with backup support no less!

We’re also fortunate to have professionals like Alessandro Crimi, Krysia Zagorska, Harry Landau, Manish Marwaha and so many others (see team roster) adding depth and competence and ideas. Ariane and I are humbled by everyone’s support and grateful to be collaborating together.

Upcoming Actions
Tomorrow, SMARCOMS team (social media marketing communications;-) is meeting to ramp up engagement with Ignite’s followers and subscribers to grow our community 10X by Sept 28th.
